The Rod and Gun Club

The L.W. Rod & Gun Club was established to support fishing and other outdoor activities at the lake. In cooperation with L.W.I., the Rod & Gun Club stocks the lake with fish and adds structures for fish beds when needed.  Food plots have been planted to encourage wildlife in the back acres.

The Rod & Gun Club also sponsors several events for property owners during the year.

Lot owners are encouraged to join the Rod & Gun Club, as memberships help to make these activities possible!  Meetings take place every other month, beginning in February, and are usually held on the third Friday of the month at 7:00pm in the Community Center.  We invite you to attend!

W.O.W. (Women Of Wauwanoka)

Lake Wauwanoka’s W.O.W. (Women of Wauwanoka) organization is open to all female property owners who would like to join. The club was formed for the purpose of the beautification of Lake Wauwanoka.

We raise money through the monthly 50/50’s, the Shed Sale, the House Tour, the small annual dues of $10.00, and any other fundraiser the club is willing to sponsor. Some of the projects paid for by the club include the natural rock siding at the entrance gate and the gate house, planting new trees, bushes, and flowers where needed, adding sand to the beach, repainting of the “STOP” entrance sign, asphalting of the beach parking lot, picnic tables on concrete slabs at the beach, grills at the picnic area, bench at the play area on the beach, cabinets in the Community Center building, the entrance fence on Pioneer Road, and installing and maintaining the bridge to reach the beach from the marina area, and sponsor of the Bounce House at the annual Independence Day celebration.

If you are interested in joining W.O.W. please contact one of the following people, or just come to a meeting!  We meet the 4th Saturday April-November at noon in private homes with the Community Center as an option.
